Josh Mermelstein

Joshua Mermelstein has always had a deep passion for film and television. Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, he trained in singing and acting with a focus on the Stella Adler and Sanford Meisner techniques. He performed in numerous school ensembles, science fairs, and music academy concerts, showcasing his dedication to the performing arts.

In 2013, Joshua landed a guest-starring role in the pilot episode of the local web series La Vuelta. Beyond acting, he trained in bowling for over ten years, developing discipline, focus, and competitive spirit that continue to influence his artistic journey.

Driven by a curiosity to better understand human behavior, Joshua pursued a degree in Psychology at ULACIT, one of Costa Rica’s most prestigious universities, and graduated in December 2023. In June 2024, he relocated to New York City to pursue acting full-time, bringing with him the skills, knowledge, and life experiences he has cultivated over the years.
